Terminal 2 of Dublin Airport was fully evacuated this morning after a smoke alarm was set off by somebody smoking in the toilets.
Normal operations have resumed in T2 @DublinAirport following a brief evacuation.

A spokesperson for the Airport said that it is standard procedure to evacuate when a smoke alarm is set off.
It is thought it was triggered by a person who was smoking in the toilets at around 8.50am this morning.
Passengers and staff were outside the building for around eight minutes.
Normal operations have now resumed.
