Dublin Airport halts flights until 5pm

Flight operations have been suspended at Dublin Airport until 5pm, it was announced this afternoon.

Flight operations have been suspended at Dublin Airport until 5pm, it was announced this afternoon.

"Our snow and ice teams are working to clear the runway, taxiways and associated apron areas as quickly as possible," said a statement from Dublin Airport Authority.

"Flight operations are expected to resume at approx 5pm - subject to favourable weather conditions.

"Passengers are advised to consult with their airline or airline's website before travelling to the airport this evening."
