Drug dealer murder: Three released

Three men being questioned about the murder of a drug dealer hacked to death by a gang in the North were tonight released without charge.

The suspects were arrested in the seaside town of Bangor, Co Down, where Mark Christie, 36, was brutally killed last August.

He had been chased through the Kilcooley Estate – an area dominated by loyalist paramilitaries – by up to six men.

The victim was captured and attacked with a range of weapons, including a machete.

Police hunting the killers have made several arrests but so far all have been released without charge.
