Dissidents blamed for bomb blast at army base
22/10/2009 - 13:02:21Dissident republicans are being blamed for a bomb attack on a Territorial Army base in north Belfast this morning.
The police were called to the scene near the Antrim Road in the early hours after local residents reported hearing a loud explosion
A device was found close to the perimeter fence and British Army bomb disposal experts were called in to examine the object.
Nobody was injured in the blast, which has been condemned by politicians from the DUP and Sinn Féin.
