Derry officer injured in stoning attack

A policeman has been injured after youths threw stones at his vehicle in Derry.

The disturbance happened in the Gobnascale area at around 9.30pm last night after police stopped a vehicle.

Police arrested one man, who was injured when an object thrown at the police car shattered a window.

An officer was hurt after missiles were thrown by the crowd.
