Dept to inform school managers of Junior Cert reform

School managers will hear from the Department of Education today on plans for Junior Cert reform.

The briefings are set to take place despite continuing protests from teachers.

Other groups representing students and parents are also expected to meet officials to discuss a compromise plan put forward by Dr Pauric Travers.

The ASTI and TUI have said the document does not represent a resolution to the dispute, but their call for more talks was rejected by the Department.
