David Drumm set for extradition hearing

David Drumm's extradition hearing is due to take place in Boston today.

Lawyers for the former Anglo Boss are expected to tell the court he is no longer fighting his extradition from the United States to Ireland.

The action could see him back on Irish soil within a number of weeks.

He faces 33 criminal charges relating to transactions carried out while he was in charge of Anglo.

Mr Drumm has offered to return to Ireland and adhere to strict bail conditions if the State does not oppose bail while he awaits trial.
