TD Clare Daly has defended a protest outside the home of the Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe.
Deputy Daly said the protest over the future of Aer Lingus's pension fund showed just how serious the issue is.
The protest outside the Minister's home in Dublin was organised by members of the pension scheme on Monday night.
Deputy Daly made her comments before a fire-bomb attack at the office of Fine Gael TD Michelle Mulherin yesterday evening.
She said protesting outside a Minister's home was a sign of how badly the pensioners were affected.
"The pensioners feel their families' lives have been devastated as a result of the Government's unwillingness to listen to an equitable solution and foisting through their proposals," she said.
"I suppose they felt strongly enough to bring it to the Minister's family door."
