Dáil to consider new law on how Irish Water can chase unpaid bills

Another new law on water charges will be published in the Dáil's new term.

The House is getting back to business today after its Christmas break - with a new list of laws the Government intends to publish this year.

The list includes a new Water Services Bill which will deal with ways Irish Water can chase unpaid bills from its customers.

The list also includes laws to reform Ireland's regime of adoption and guardianship, ahead of a referendum on same-sex marriage in May.
