Dáil passes legislation on public-sector pension levy
26/02/2009 - 08:02:26The Dáil has approved the legislation giving effect to the controversial pension levy on all public-sector workers.
The bill passed all stages in the House last night, with TDs voting by 81-71 in favour due to the Government's majority.
The legislation is due to be debated in the Seanad tomorrow.
