A man in his 30's has died following a road traffic collision in Dublin.

Cyclist passes away after Dublin crash

A man in his 30's has died following a road traffic collision in Dublin.

The man was cycling on City West Road at Brownsbarn Roundabout in Saggart when the crash happened at around 5.20pm.

He was knocked to the ground and removed to Tallaght Hospital where he later died.

The road remains closed while a forensic collision examination takes place.

Gardaí are investigating and appealing for witnesses to contact them in Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-6667600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1-800-666-111 or any Garda station.
