A teenage cyclist who collided with a motorbike has died in hospital, gardaí said today.

A teenage cyclist who collided with a motorbike has died in hospital, gardaí said today.

The 15-year-old suffered critical injuries in the crash at Greenane, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, at 5.45pm yesterday.

Both were taken to the South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel, where the teenager lost his fight for life this morning.

Gardaí said the motorcyclist was not seriously injured.

Investigating officers at Clonmel garda station are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
