A cyclist has been hit by the LUAS in Dublin city centre.

A cyclist has been hit by the LUAS in Dublin city centre.

It happened on the Red Line at Stephen's Lane just before Heuston Station.

Gardaí and Fire Brigade units are at the scene, and the cyclist has been placed on a spinal board to be taken to hospital.

All Luas Red Line services between James's Hospital and the Point have now been suspended, and all tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption.
