Govt to donate €50m to combat HIV in Mozambique
02/11/2005 - 08:07:00The Government has announced plans to donate €50m to the Bill Clinton Foundation in the United States to combat HIV and AIDS in Mozambique.
The donation, which will be paid out over five years, was announced by Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern in New York last night.
Mozambique has one of the highest rates of HIV infection in the world.
