Customs seize more than a million cigarettes at Dublin Airport
Customs officers have seized more than 1.1 million cigarettes as part of an intelligence operation at Dublin Airport.
Up to €516,000 worth of Benson and Hedges-branded cigarettes were hidden in a shipping container which arrived from the United Arab Emirates yesterday.
They had been declared as "foil containers".
Investigations are continuing both domestically and internationally.
