Residential property prices in Dublin rose by 0.5% in January, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

CSO figures reveal slight drop in national house prices

Residential property prices in Dublin rose by 0.5% in January, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

Dublin house prices were up 2.8% year-on-year last month, while apartment prices were 4.6% lower than in January 2012.

At a national level, residential property prices were 0.6% lower in January, compared to December 2012.

Excluding Dublin, national prices fell by an average of 1.6% last month, a 7% drop on the previous year.
