Renua leader Lucinda Creighton has called on the Dáil to sit next week to discuss the details of the Aer Lingus deal.
She said the decision to sell the Government's 25% stake in the airline was "rushed through", saying that was "unfortunately how this Government operates".
"This was the same old 'cute' politics that we have unfortunately become accustomed to in this country, to ram things through so TDs don’t come under pressure from various groups or interests in their constituencies and that's exactly what has happened here," she said.
"It was announced on Tuesday and rushed through and voted on by Thursday."
Deputy Creighton said the Aer Lingus agreement should be negotiated in an open and public way.
