Four trade unions opposed to the proposals for a new Croke Park Agreement have launched a joint campaign to urge their members to vote against the new deal.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, the Irish Medical Organisation, The Civil and Public Services Union and Unite will hold a series of public meetings across the country to highlight their opposition to the proposed agreement.
The groups will also be lobbying TDs and Senators to raise their objections.
Deputy General Secretary of the CPSU, which represents lower paid civil servants, is Derek Mullen.
Mr Mullen said: "Next Tuesday we meet all of our branches to engage in a full deliberation.
"I expect also a ballot paper will be issued to CPSU members next week setting out very clearly that this deal is a bad deal for our members, it is a bad deal for public servants and we believe it is a bad deal for workers generally in Ireland."
