Council to remove lovers' padlocks from Ha'penny Bridge

There is bad news for couples who have been leaving lasting symbols of their love on Dublin's Ha'penny Bridge.

City Council officials have reportedly called in a company to remove padlocks attached to the structure, because of fears they are damaging the bridge.

The locks will be picked, rather than cut off, to avoid the risk of any further damage.
