The Canadian judge who investigated the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane has again criticised the British government's planned inquiry into the 1989 killing.
Peter Cory was appointed by the Irish and British governments to investigate six controversial murders surrounded by allegations of security force collusion.
He recommended full public inquiries into all the cases, but the British government is planning to hold the Finucane inquiry under controversial legislation that will allow it to withhold certain information on national security grounds.
Judge Cory has already criticised this situation and has backed the Finucane family's campaign for a proper investigation.
Speaking in Belfast last night, the Canadian judge accused the British government of moving the goalposts and said he was frustrated that the British were limiting the powers of the Finucane inquiry.
