A Cork man has set himself a major challenge to show the extent of his opposition to the terms of the EU/IMF bailout.

A Cork man has set himself a major challenge to show the extent of his opposition to the terms of the EU/IMF bailout.

Diarmuid O'Flynn left his home in Ballyhea this morning to set off on a 153 mile run to Dublin.

He is planning to hand a petition into Dáil Eireann following a march at the Garden of Remembrance on Friday.

He is collecting signatures along the way and is hoping that others will join his run.
