Three men have appeared in court in Cork, charged in connection with a €1.5m drug seizure.
All three men were charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis resin at a special sitting of Cork District Court this evening.
Jerome O'Halloran from St Joseph's, Boreenmanna Road, Cork was charged with possession of €900,000 worth of cannabis at St Joseph's Boreenmanna Road on September 28.
The 59 year old was also charged with possession of €900,000 worth of cannabis resin for sale or supply.
Trevor Williamson was charged with possession of €900,000 worth of cannabis resin and possession of €900,000 worth of cannabis resin for sale or supply at St Joseph's on the same date.
46-year-old Williamson from Meadowbrook, Heron's Wood, Carrigaline was also charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of €600,000 worth of cannabis resin at Boreenmanna Rd on September 28.
53-year-old Michael O'Connell from O'Malley Park in Southhill in Limerick was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of €600,000 worth of cannabis resin at Boreenmanna Rd on the same date.
Gardaí did not object to bail for O'Halloran and Williamson and Judge Olann Kelleher remanded both of them on their own bonds to appear again at Cork District Court on Oct 3.
O'Connell did not apply for bail and he has been remanded in custody to appear at Cork District Court on October 4.
