The streets of Dublin will be bedecked with all the colours of the rainbow this afternoon as 40,000 people descend on the city for the Pride Parade.

This year's gay Pride Parade is set to be the biggest yet.

Participants will assemble from 12pm at the Garden of Remembrance with the march expected to begin at 1.45pm.

Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst flew into Dublin for the event, and gave a special performance for her fans in The George last night.
