Complete Stone Roses founder Lamp withdraws action against MCD

A High Court action against music promotors MCD by tribute act 'The Complete Stone Roses' has been struck out.

Founder of the covers band Peter Lamb had sought damages from MCD, claiming they tried to take over the running of the group.

MCD's lawyers pointed out all legal contact had been with Mr Lamb's company Pet Lamb Records Ltd which is now defunct.

After time to consider their positions, Mr Lamb of Westfield, Cumbernauld in Scotland withdrew the case.
