Starbucks has today apologised for a tweet to its Irish customerswhich asked them what makes them proud to be British.

Starbucks has today apologised for a tweet to its Irish customerswhich asked them what makes them proud to be British.

The coffee giant sent the tweet, which has since been deleted, as the British Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee.

However, after much discussion on Twitter this afternoon, Starbucks Ireland has apologised, saying the tweet was meant for its British customers only.
