'Clear intent to murder' in failed mortar attack


A senior police officer says those responsible for a suspected failed mortar bomb attack in Northern Ireland had a "clear intent to murder".

Army bomb disposal experts are continuing to examine the device found close to New Barnsley station in west Belfast.

Schools and houses nearby were evacuated following the discovery.
