Children under five next for swine flu jab

Children under five are expected to be offered the swine flu vaccination later this month.

The vaccine will be provided at special HSE clinics rather than at GP surgeries.

The HSE, who have been vaccinating "at-risk" groups for the past two weeks will now write to parents of children between six months and five years to inform them.

People aged over 65 will also be invited to take the jab in the next two weeks.
