Most Irish children are more concerned with looking good than leading a healthy lifestyle, according to survey of young people's attitudes to diet and exercise.

Most Irish children are more concerned with looking good than leading a healthy lifestyle, according to survey of young people's attitudes to diet and exercise.

The research was carried out amid concern about growing obesity levels among Irish kids, one-in-10 of whom are classified as obese.

The Government is being urged to involve young people in finding solutions to the problem.
