Chambers Ireland welcomes Lisbon outcome

Chambers Ireland has welcomed today’s agreement at the European Council meeting in Brussels.

Speaking this afternoon, Chambers Ireland Chief Executive Ian Talbot said: “We note that the Government has secured firm legal guarantees and a commitment from the other EU member states to a protocol to be incorporated in the EU treaties.

"The Chambers in Ireland will now commence a network consultation on the issue to confirm our position on the referendum that is to follow."
