Central Bank reports drop in bank lending to households
Lending to households dropped by 3.8% in November, when compared to 12 months previously.
Data from the Central Bank shows that mortgages, which make up 81% of total household loans, dropped by 2.9%.
Lending for other purposes fell by around 7% year on year, while deposits totalled €174bn at the end of November.
