The trial of a Polish national accused of stabbing a Romanian man to death in Co. Cavan last year has been adjourned at the Central Criminal Court.

The trial of a Polish national accused of stabbing a Romanian man to death in Co. Cavan last year has been adjourned at the Central Criminal Court.

Przemyslaw Trebacz (aged 35) of Bramble Rise, Killynebber, Cavan has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Romanian Costel Catalin Cretu (aged 38) at Connolly Court, Connolly Street, Cavan between October 13 and 14, 2012.

He has pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a door belonging to Brendan Cosgrove at Connolly Court on October 13, 2012.

The trial will resume before the jury of nine men and three women tomorrow.
