A young child has escaped injury after a car was stolen in the Baldoyle area of Dublin this morning.

A young child has escaped injury after a car was stolen in the Baldoyle area of Dublin this morning.

The infant was in the back seat when the vehicle was taken in Park Vale at around 7.30am.

The car was found in the Clongriffin area 45 minutes later.

No arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí in Raheny are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
