More than eight kilos of herbal cannabis, worth more than €160,000, has been seized at a house in Dublin.

The drugs, which were concealed in the lining of a suitcase, originated in Nigeria.

They were found during the planned search of a premises at Lohunda Downs, Clonsilla, yesterday morning.

Two men, aged 22 and 37 respectively, were arrested at scene and taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station.

They have since been released without charge and files are being prepared for the DPP.
