Canadian visa applications open online
If you are headed to Canada for work, it is time to get cracking on your application.
The Canadian visa programme for Irish workers in 2013 opens this afternoon through private companies.
Visafirst.com is now taking applications for the 6,350 places, to be filled over the next four months.
Based on last year though, they expect the quota to be reached by March or April, even though there is a thousand more available this time.
The website says those looking for Canadian working visas currently almost equals numbers looking for Australian visas.
