Brothers sent back to jail after stealing from Quinn daughter

Two brothers from Dublin will return to jail next week after stealing from Aoife Quinn.

Sean Quinn's daughter had parked her car in a north inner city laneway last July, when 37-year-old Keith and 35-year-old Gary Kinlan from Summerhill Place in the city broke in and stole a HP laptop and iPhone 3GS.

They were caught - just moments later - by gardaí, hiding in a flats complex.

At the time, the two were serving a 18 months suspended portion of a three year jail term. The State has now sought to re-activate that suspended sentence.

The pair - who had pleaded guilty to the theft - said they needed time to collect dole payments, and organise childrens' Christmas presents.

They are now expected to be jailed next week.
