A brother of murdered dissident republican Alan Ryan will stand trial at the Special Criminal Court next year on charges relating to the killing of a man in Dublin last year.
Vincent Ryan (aged 22) was charged in September with the possession of an assault rifle and revolver at Clonshaugh Walk, Coolock, Dublin 17 on September 15, 2011.
His co-accused Darragh Evans is charged with the same offence on the same date.
Michael Kelly, 30, was shot dead outside an apartment complex on Marsfield Avenue, Clongriffin on September 15, 2011.
The Special Criminal Court was told this morning that the book of evidence has now been served on both men and a three-week period would be required for the trial, which is due to begin on October 9, 2013.
Both accused have been remanded in custody.
