The family of the late Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has strongly rejected comments made about him by former ECB chief Jean Claude Trichet.

Mr Trichet said the first he learned about the €440bn bailout of six Irish lenders was through the media.
According to the Sunday Independent, the Banking Inquiry will now examine Mr Lenihan's telephone records to determine whether the call took place.
The Lenihan family is demanding a right of reply to any evidence which may damage the legacy of the late Finance Minister.
Brian Lenihan died of pancreatic cancer in June of 2011.
