The Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan says he is seriously considering inviting more foreign construction companies into Ireland, to complete projects approved by his Department.

The Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan says he is seriously considering inviting more foreign construction companies into Ireland, to complete projects approved by his Department.

He was commenting on the latest revelations that construction costs for the Metro, Luas, and national roads are at least one third more expensive here than in other European countries.

Minister Brennan says bringing more foreign companies into Ireland may be necessary to save the taxpayer money.
