Bomb scare disrupts retail conference in Belfast

A bomb scare has disrupted a retail conference at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast and has caused traffic gridlock in the city centre.

Delegates from across the world were gathering for the final day of the three-day BCSC conference when a bomb warning forced the evacuation of the centre.

The hall was sealed-off pending inspections, with those in attendance waiting on the pavement outside for the all-clear.
