Boil water notice issued for parts of Limerick
Recent heavy rainfall may have led to contamination of water supplies in parts of Co Limerick.
Limerick County Council has issued a 'boil water' notice for three separate areas for those with supplies from the Ardagh Water Scheme, Carrigeen Water Scheme and the Tobergal water source.
The council said it is a precautionary measure and comes on foot of advice from the HSE pending further investigations.
