The body of Michaela McAreavey - who was murdered on her honeymoon in Mauritius - has now returned to her hometown in Ballygawley, County Tyrone.

The body of Michaela McAreavey - who was murdered on her honeymoon in Mauritius - has now returned to her hometown in Ballygawley, County Tyrone.

The 27 year old will be waked in private tonight, ahead of her funeral on Monday.

Investigating officers believe she disturbed thieves in her luxury hotel room - and have charged three men.

A few hundred mourners gathered to pay their respects as the cortege passed by en route to the Harte family home this evening.

The President Mary McAleese will attend her funeral on Monday.
