Body found in Fermoy apartment
Gardaí are investigating after a man's body was discovered at an apartment in Fermoy, Co Cork.
The man who was aged in his early 50s was discovered after gardaí were called to an apartment on Emmet Street at around 3pm today.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene at the apartment has been preserved for a technical and forensic examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
