The body of a woman has been recovered in a river in Co Clare by search teams.
They were searching for Rosie Moloney from Pallaskenry, Co Limerick, who went missing last Saturday, April 5.
Gardaí n Newcastle West, Co Limerick later confirmed that the body found was that of the 24-year-old woman.
A massive air, land and water search had been co-ordinated by her family and friends and search units from Limerick, Clare, Cork and the Midlands.
The body was discovered by the Shannon-based Coastguard Helicopter on the Clare side of the Shannon Estuary shortly before 4pm today.
The remains were recovered by Foynes Search and Rescue close to the mouth of the River Fergus.
The body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem examination will take place.
