It has been confirmed that Fungie the Dolphin is alive and well.

Rumours abounded on the internet last night and early this morning that the world famous mammal had died.

However this morning boat owners operating Fungi tours confirmed the dolphin, who has been a resident of Dingle Bay for the last 30 years, is very much alive.
