Belfast schoolboy diagnosed with swine flu

A Belfast schoolboy has been diagnosed with swine flu.

It is understood the child was treated in isolation but has now been transferred to a Scottish hospital.

It is more than three yearssince an outbreak of the swine flu virus caused a health alert across the island of Ireland.

In January 2011, a 10-month-old baby boy and a two-year-old boy died from swine flu.
