Some batches of Irish-cooked frozen mussel meats are being recalled.

The Food Safety Authority have said the issue affects Shellfish De La Mer cooked mussel meats, which were on sale in some outlets of Dunnes Stores and Tesco.

The retailers have removed the affected products from sale.

The FSAI is warning consumers who may have bought the shellfish not to eat them.

The affected batches are Shellfish De La Mer Ltd, Cooked Mussel Meats (frozen), pack size 500g
