Bank of Ireland has said that payments are now being processed and are being posted to customer accounts.

The financial institution says customer accounts will be updated this evening.

The statement comes after several customers did not receive payments that were due in their accounts today.

Bank of Ireland said that its is in touch with customers online and over the phone and have also issued an apology for any inconvenience caused today.
