A baby boy remains in a serious condition in hospital following a road crash in Dublin over the weekend.

A baby boy remains in a serious condition in hospital following a road crash in Dublin over the weekend.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision which happened at the junction of Hamptonwood Green and Hamptonwood Avenue in Finglas on Saturday.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The infant was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital where he remains this morning.
