Arlene Foster re-elected in North

The DUP leader has been re-elected in elections to the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Arlene Foster secured her seat on the first count in Fermanagh today.

Counting is continuing in consistencies across the UK - with Labour's Sadiq Khan expected to become the new Mayor of London.

For the first time People before Profit will be represented at Stormont.

Gerry Carroll has been elected for west Belfast.

"Fantastic. I'm thrilled. This is people in west Belfast saying they're fed up with the status-quo, fed up with Stormont. They made it absolutely clear that they are rooting for the alternative."
