Archbishop to be made Cardinal by Vatican
17/10/2007 - 11:02:24The head of the Catholic Church in Ireland Archbishop Sean Brady is to be made a Cardinal, it was confirmed today.
The Catholic Primate of All-Ireland was selected by Vatican officials after more than 10 years in charge of Irish affairs.
A spokesman for the Catholic Church confirmed the promotion.
